Blogs, Fellowships, Rights and Global Health

Karen Grepin wants you to know about new post-doc fellowships for global health at Duke University.

Jon Shaffer explores whether healthcare is a right.

I plan to study Tara Smith's paper in PLOS Biology on "Advancing Science through Conversations: Bridging the Gap between Blogs and the Academy." I have found that the same reticence that academics have about joining the global conversation permeates the global health community as well.

Hi Vincent,

I went to your site and must say I am confused about what you are trying to do. Why is the survey needed? Who is it targeting? What benefits do you hope to gain?

Hi Christine,
Thank you for your answer and having take time to go to visit our site. To answer your very useful questions, we want to create a report from the perceptions of all of us anywhere in the world concerning Global Health, and not only a report based on the empirical studies of some experts (that are actually also very needed!). We think that in asking people to share their perceptions about global health we can explore new ways for action and improvement. In sum, we are trying to let local voices to talk about global health issues.
Thank you for your advices.
Best,
Vincent.
